Jennifer Cassetta inherited her love of martial arts from her family. Her father, a Master in Tae Kwon Do, is still going strong in his 70s and her grandmother taught T'ai Chi into her 90s. A third-degree black belt in HapKiDo, Jennifer spent 10 years training with one of the top instructors in the country in NYC. Early on in her training, she was grabbed on the street but was able to scare off her attacker by tapping into her inner "she beast"—a power that all women can access during times of danger or stress.
Jennifer has also attained a Master's degree in nutrition, is a certified personal trainer and completed a holistic health program at New York's Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Jennifer's unique whole-body approach to health is a blend of her extensive training in HapKiDo, fitness and nutrition. A few years ago, she also created the popular Stilettos and Self Defense™ workshop, which is designed to empower modern women of all ages by teaching them basic self defense, awareness, confidence and street smarts.
To share her techniques with people nationwide, Jennifer has recently released 3 self-defense DVDs which can be found at www.stilettosandselfdefense.com. She teaches her workshops around the country, and runs her personal training and nutrition business from her current hometown of Los Angeles, CA. Jennifer's clients include professional athletes, CEOs, celebrities, royalty, as well as moms and dads. She has been featured in the NY Post, the Wall Street Journal, Marie Claire, Women's Health and numerous health-related websites, as well as on NPR radio, E! TV and KCAL news.
