You Can Have Your Smoking Habit Eliminated!

ccbanner_450x250pix4.jpg

Rhonda Lenair, also known as Self(s) - the eternal voiced reflection reflecting one Self(s) founded a non-medical paradigm called the Self(s) Healing Experience (SHE) joined the show.

Note: Refer to audio player below to listen to this episode.

Rhonda Lenair is a prophet and luminary who founded a non-medical paradigm called the Self(s) Healing Experience (SHE). SHE is renowned for producing a phenomenon - a ‘predictable miracle’ whereby people effortlessly outgrow the need, desire, and purpose to self-abuse and sabotage themselves with behaviors (excessive drinking, eating, smoking, etc.) and self-defeating thoughts that block inner peace.

Her countenance is represented in pictures as the golden water, as she, through what SHE offers, always perfectly reflects the life or lives before her and seamlessly becomes their voiced reflection. In her presence, SHE creates predictable and unpredictable miracles that occur for one (privately) or many (in a group) to reach the sanctity of pure inner peace – SHE’s objective. To enter this metaphor, click here. [Haroon - this is directed to the ‘Self(s) Message’ page]

Since 1987, SHE has offered over 30,000 people worldwide freedom from desiring, needing, or seeking false versions of peace through a phenomenon this divine experience produces.

In her early teens, Rhonda was a dedicated student of the Boston Ballet under the direction of its founder, the late E. Virginia Williams, and was granted a Ford Foundation scholarship. She became an apprentice with the Boston Ballet at age 14 and was one of the youngest dancers with the ballet at that time. At 15, Rhonda received a scholarship to study at the Julliard School under the direction of the late George Balanchine and was given a scholarship to the Rebecca Harkness School of Ballet Arts.

Rhonda is internationally renowned for her contributions and achievements in the fields of teaching, healing, enlightenment, and for bringing forth the Self(s) Language, a calibrated language that is ‘languaged’ for all life to Self(s) learn, Self(s) teach, and Self(s) heal seamlessly, simultaneously, and instantaneously. She has been referred to as one of the leading medical intuitives in the world and has been compared to the ‘Sleeping Prophet’ Edgar Cayce, although medical intuitive feedback is but a small part of what transmits and occurs in her presence during the Self(s) Healing Experience.

She offers private and Group SHEs via phone and in-person at the Lenair Self(s) Healing Centers and when traveling internationally.

Rhonda Lenair discusses the following on this eHealth Radio Episode:

  • You describe the Self(s)Healing Experience (SHE) as the most effective, successful, and quickest way that one can become onewith their highest power, attain instant enlightenment and achieve the sanctity of inner peace. Also that SHE is renowned for a phenomenon that occurs whereby out-of-control behaviors and thoughts disappear in seemingly an instant andthat whether those behaviors are excessive alcohol consumption, eating disorders, smoking or other issues, they again are eliminated without any withdrawals, pain, treatments or therapy. So, how does this happen and perhaps more importantly, why does this happen?
  • What is 'instant enlightenment' and how does one become immediately one with their highest power?
  • What is a 'predictable miracle' and why does it occur?
  • You are also referred to as 'the healer of addictions'. How does that interplay with your work? What addictions do you treat?

Replacing Your Smoking Habit With…

teresavan-zeller.jpg

Certified Hypnotherapist, Teresa Van Zeller joined the show to discuss the mindset, hypnosis in quitting smoking.

Note: Refer to audio player below to listen to this episode.

Teresa Van-Zeller has been intrigued about the world of hypnosis since childhood, however, it wasn’t until she started her training to become a Hypnotherapist that she realized the incredible potentials of using hypnosis and hypnotherapy to effect change in people.  She learned the values of using hypnosis from personal experience.  In the first year that she practiced self hypnosis, she overcame several issues of her own, including chronic neck and back pain, fear of flying, and insomnia--all issues that at one time were suffered on a daily basis and are now only rarely experienced, so rarely that they can only be categorized as an occasional nuisance.

What was most amazing to her was how easy it was to make changes in life and how once those changes were made, all the other areas of her life improved as well.  Using and teaching hypnosis to help others effect changes in their lives has become her passion.

Within one year after becoming a Certified Hypnotherapist, Teresa was asked to teach the National Guild of Hypnotist’s Hypnotherapist Certification course at the school she had attended.  Soon after, she was  asked to join the faculty and sit on the Board of Directors of the HypnoBirthing ® Institute. She has trained over one thousand parents and HypnoBirthing® Practitioners.  In addition, she was asked to join the faculty of Roy Hunter’s Alliance Self-Empowerment, Inc. and Teresa now has her own school where she teaches Roy’s highly acclaimed Certified Hypnotherapist course which is accepted in many colleges across the nation.

Richard Fast knows what it’s like to have a detestable habit. He
had one: smoking. Like many smokers, he picked up the habit as a
teenager and by 16 he was committed to it. By the time he was in
his early 20s he had a 60-cigarret-a-day habit.

He loathed this part of his life, angry that he was controlled by an
utterly destructive habit. So Fast decided to quit, but not
immediately that day or by trying to gradually cut back like past
quitting attempts. Instead, he set out to reprogram his thinking
about smoking from pleasurable and impossible-to-quit to
focusing on how much he hated it and how destructive it was on
his health.

Twenty-five years later he says the greatest accomplishment of his
life was kicking the habit, and from this success he set out to help
others quit bad habits or acquire desirable ones. Fast’s “29 Days”
series is a step-by-step program that helps participants re-train
their thought process about life goals. His series currently
includes: 29 Days … to your perfect weight, 29 Days … to your life
without cigarettes, 29 Days … to save money and achieve financial
independence and 29 Days … to becoming a great listener and
communicator.

“The ’29 Days’ programs are designed to generate gentle, effortless, forward momentum – every day,”
Fast says. “These small gentle steps engage the cortex, the rational thinking brain, while simultaneously
laying down a new roadway for our subconscious thoughts. This new roadway is the superhighway that
builds new habits and lasting results.”

A prolific developer of board games, puzzles and toys, Fast is most notably the maker of the early 90s
board game MindTrap (Mattel) – which challenges players to correctly answer brain teaser questions.

Fast is a native and current resident of Ontario and a full-time writer. He is a member of the International
Listening Association and holds a black belt in jiu-jitsu. He and his wife, Michele Bertolin, co-author of 29
Days … to your perfect weight, live in Burlington. For more information, please visit www.29Daysto.com.

Abbreviated Transcript of Interview with Gloria Starita

Eric Michaels: What is the most important step in kicking the nicotine habit?
Gloria Starita: It is definitely not easy,  but the most difficult part is the commitment. There is no drug or herb that can replace your decision to get free of this addiction. If you truly want to quit and are ready to deal with it, there are a number of herbs that can help support your intention.

Eric Michaels: What is the Kick It! Stop Smoking Support Kit?
Gloria Starita: The Kick It! Stop Smoking Support Kit contains a 1 oz package of our Sacred Eagle Smoking Blend, 2 herbal tinctures to clear the lungs, keep your nerves steady and help to overcome addictive impulses, a rolling machine, rice papers and a travel tin.

jp_kickit.jpg

Eric Michaels: What is the Sacred Eagle Smoking Blend?
Gloria Starita: The blend is an organic alternative to harmful nicotine products. This blend of herbs is an expectorant that clears the lungs, breaks up and eliminates tars and nicotine, and repairs damaged respiratory tissue. The healing herbs of the blend are Coltsfoot, Comfrey Leaf, Nettles and Yerba Buena (Spearmint). It is helpful in curtailing nicotine use as it still allows you the physical act of smoking which is a major part of the addiction.

Eric Michaels: Tell us about the herbal tinctures and how they work.
Gloria Starita: The Kick It! kit contains 2 herbal tinctures - Decompress and Breathe. DeCompress tincture contains St. John's Wort,  Root Beer Plant, Skullcap and Shiso Leaf. When you are jangled and uptight, depressed, sleepless or head achy, this formula invites a smooth flow of energy to the nervous system. Breathe tincture contains a synergistic combination of nervines that are not only strong bronchial dilators to help you breathe easily again but will also ease nicotine cravings and all types of compulsive behaviors. This formula contains Mullein, Ginger, Reishi, Shiitake and Maitake mushrooms, Usnea, Ginseng, Lobelia and Shiso. Lobelia helps directly with nicotine cravings as it contains a constituent, lobeline, which is similar to nicotine activity in the body but has no addictive properties. These tinctures are both extracted in a certified organic grain alcohol base and can easily be carried in purse or pocket. A few drops under the tongue may be all that is necessary to calm you and help abate a nicotine fit. They are much safer and less expensive than patches or gum and the combined with the smoking blend give you a therapeutic smoking alternative during this stressful period.

Eric Michaels: Why should everyone  quit smoking tobacco?
Gloria Starita: Smoking tobacco not only damages lungs, skin, heart and sexual health, but is also a major expense. How much does smoking cost you each week? each month? each year? A pack a day habit can cost more than $1500.00 a year.

Conclusion Tip:  Little by little, cigarette smoking has taken over parts of your life and you are not happy with the control it has over you. Most people who have kicked the habit have to try to quit 2 or 3 or more times. Don't be discouraged - keep trying and you will be victorious. Years from now, you'll look back and be grateful for making this tough decision. We at Jade & Pearl are grateful to be a part of your success and your freedom.

Matthew Bucklin is the creator of the popular, natural stop smoking aid Quit Tea.  He is an expert in smoking cessation, and since 2009 he has helped hundreds of people finally quit smoking through his writings, advice, and one on one contact with people trying to quit smoking.  In 2010 he conducted a successful, non-scientific trial of smokers using Quit Tea and other smoking cessation aids for the purpose of quitting smoking.  He worked as a pharmaceuticals analyst for years, learning about drugs and the need for healthy and effective alternatives. He believes that drugs are the last option and that good health comes from a lifestyle change and sometimes a little help from natural remedies.

250sq_edrugstore.jpg

Transcript of Interview with Matthew Bucklin

Eric Michaels: So everyone knows they need to quit smoking.  Is there anything you can tell people that will encourage everyone to finally quit?

Matthew Bucklin: There are very few people that love to smoke.  Most just continue smoking, even though they are fully aware of the damage they are doing to their health, because they are afraid to quit.  They are afraid that they will not be able to function normally throughout the day without being able to rely on cigarettes. They are afraid that the stress will be too much, they won't have the energy, or they will be too nervous to interact with people without cigarettes. So I remind people that want to quit that they will be fine.  Not only will they be fine but they will be better for quitting very soon.  After you quit you will feel better, have more energy, sleep normally, not smell like cigarette smoke.  Your skin will improve, so you will look better.  And your lungs recover quickly after quitting.  So not smoking will not kill you, but smoking might.  The sooner you quit the better, and you will survive without cigarettes.

Eric Michaels: Most people try to quit over and over again and fail.  Can you shed some light onto the reason for repeated failure?

Matthew Bucklin: There are many reasons people fail to quit smoking.  In the study we conducted we found that most people had try to quit 5 or 6 times prior to enrolling in our trial.  The products people had used covered the entire spectrum of smoking cessation aids.  That includes nicotine replacement therapies like the patch or gum, pharmaceutical products like Zyban or Chantix, cold turkey, and natural remedies like herbs or acupuncture and hypnosis.  And the reason people fail varies slightly for each, like not appropriately using the nicotine replacement therapy.  But the underlying cause every time is that people do not make a change to their lifestyle, and that makes it too easy for people to fall back into the same old routine that includes smoking.  To really successfully quit, you have to make quitting part of a healthy lifestyle that includes avoiding people who smoke and smoke filled areas like bars, eating better, getting exercise, sleeping 8 hours a night, taking your vitamins, and so on.  When you fully commit to living better, quitting smoking will seem easy.

Eric Michaels: So with New Years coming right up, a lot of people are going to make quitting smoking their New Years resolution.  Can you give all those people some advice about how to make this time a success?

Matthew Bucklin: When people ask me what they need to quit smoking, I always say you need 3 simple things:  A desire to quit, some information, and a little help.  You have to want to quit first of all, or else there is not a product, counselor, or system in the world that can prevent you from smoking.  So that is a must.  The second is information.  I have spoken to people that used Quit Tea that told me this time quitting was different because they have the internet now.  It is incredible important for someone to research quitting smoking and understand the nicotine withdrawal process before trying to quit themselves.  Before you quit, if you understand what is going on to your body as you go through withdrawal you can prepare mentally and with tricks and tools to help make it easier for you.  And third, many people have quit cold turkey, but I think it is important to have a tool, something to help you quit.  And it could be as simple as packages of raisins, which my mother's trick decades ago.  Nicotine replacement products are by far the most widely used, and unfortunately have dismally low success rates.  This is because people misuse them, and are unfortunately still hooked on nicotine at the end of the box.  Nicotine replacement may or may not work for you, but there are so many other products available out there.  My advice is to research as many as you can and figure out what will work for you.  And with all these three, the desire, information, and a tool, you can come up with you plan for quitting success, which I suggest people keep in a journal.

box-image.jpg

Eric Michaels:  The smoking cessation tool you created and sell is Quit Tea.  Why does that work and how does it compare to other smoking cessation products?

Matthew Bucklin: I came up with the idea for Quit Tea years ago after quitting myself.  I had not smoked a lot, but I did a detox with herbs and spices, and months later I remember trying a cigarette and it tasted awful.  I realized there might be a connection between losing my taste for cigarettes and this detox, so I researched the herbs and spices to see if there was anything to it.  Well I realized that the spices I had used desensitized the taste receptors in my mouth.  So when cigarette smoke passed over my tongue it was no longer pleasant, it actually just sort of burned.  This realization inspired me to research all of the nicotine withdrawal side effects, and the corresponding herbs that would help you deal with these side effects.  After research, experimentation, and testing, I came up with a formula that worked.

shutterstock_21183613.jpg

Quit Tea works because it is a simple boil-in-a-bag herbal tea blend, that will help you deal with all of the nicotine withdrawal side effects.  It helps relieve all of the added stress and anxiety that you feel from nicotine withdrawal.  The herbs also detoxify your body and help improve lung function.  And one big selling point is that it helps suppress your appetite.  Most people that use Quit Tea report little to no weight gain.  As I said before it helps you lose your taste for cigarettes.  But most importantly Quit Tea helps you break the psychological addiction to smoking, because it replaces that oral habit and helps you recondition your mind from the typical, stress trigger to cigarettes, to, stress trigger to herbal tea.

shutterstock_46211650.jpg

There are many products out there, pharmaceutical and natural, but Quit Tea is different because it does not contain nicotine, caffeine, or lobelia.  Anything with nicotine will keep you hooked on nicotine.  Caffeine does not help.  And lobelia is potentially toxic.  I wanted to make sure everything in Quit Tea is good for you and can be consumed in high doses, because you should be able to drink a cup of Quit Tea every time you feel a craving for cigarettes.

Eric Michaels: Can you tell us about the quitting process?  What people can expect, or what people should know as they are quitting?

Matthew Bucklin: There will be times when quitting gets tough, but even if it doesn't seem like it, the hard part is very temporary.  So pre-quitting, I recommend getting everything cigarette related out of your house, telling everyone you know that you are going to quit, and finding a buddy to support you.  Then after your quit day you will probably find day 1 to be much easier than you expected.  The nicotine withdrawal symptoms will actually peak between days 2 and 4, these are the worst days for side effects severity, but usually people make it through because they are still determined, being so close after their quit day.  After day 4 the physical symptoms plateau and will slowly subside each day until the end of week 3.  Most people make it to this point with no problems because the physical symptoms work as a reminder to not smoke.  At this point there may be some lingering physical withdrawal symptoms, but they are minimal, and at this point people get tricked into thinking they will be fine without sticking to their quitting plan or routine.  Don't fall into that trap.  After this point it is going to be all mental, your body has broken the addiction but your mind hasn't.  Psychologists have said it takes 66 days to form a new habit that is why I really recommend sticking to a steady routine of physical activity like walking or working out, breathing exercises, drinking Quit Tea, or whatever it is you are doing to form new healthy habits, be very disciplined for 9 full weeks.

Conclusion Tip: Avoid places where people are smoking, and avoid alcohol.  I hear from a lot of people that it is extremely difficult to quit if they are around people that smoke all day.  So if you have a smoking area at work, avoid it.  And especially avoid bars for a while.  Instead of going out drinking go to the gym, you will look better and feel better after.  Drinking will completely destroy your resolve to remain smoke free.  Even months later drinking alcohol can be the trigger that leads you to smoking again, so be careful when you drink.
